100 Days to Go

Glasgow pushes forward on tackling climate change with 100 days to COP26. As one of the biggest events ever held in the UK, in climate change terms, COP26 is the most significant event of its kind since COP21 in 2015 which led to the “Paris Agreement” – a legally binding international agreement that set out a global framework to avoid dangerous climate change by limiting global warming to well below 2°C.

As host city, Glasgow is already using the arrival of COP to add momentum to its own ambitions and drive collective action from partners.
